DAY 3 - MONDAY

Gyeongbok Palace & National Folk Museum. Home to the National Folk Museum, Gyeongbok Palace ranks among Seoul’s top city attractions—with a history dating back to the 14th-century Joseon Dynasty.  Insadong Culture street. Cheong Wa Dae. Watching The NANTA (https://www.nanta.co.kr). Enjoy Korean BBQ for dinner.

DAY 4 - TUESDAY

Begin your journey at the National Museum of Korea, where ancient artifacts and artworks tell the story of Korea's fascinating history. Then, venture to Yeouido Hangang Park, an oasis nestled along the serene banks of the Han River, offering breathtaking views and tranquil green spaces. Next, embark on a memorable Hangang Tour Cruise, gliding along the gentle currents of the river while soaking in the mesmerizing skyline of Seoul. Chimaek (Chicken & Beer) for dinner. Visit Seoul Sky for night view.

Korea Bethel Tour. Enjoy breakfast and take the bus to visit Korea branch office. Possibly enjoy picnic lunch in the Bethel garden. Return to hotel.

PREPARING FOR YOUR TRIP

We highly recommend booking your flight to Korea as soon as possible. Many have found that online travel agencies have promotions as well as international airlines. Tip - If you have air miles, redeeming them can be useful for savings and low fare.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Is the trip only for Jehovah's Witnesses?

Yes. This trip has been organized ONLY for active Jehovah's Witnesses who are in good standing. Please do not share the trip details with anyone outside of the organization. This is a private tour.

Do you have to be a current OGC student to take the trip?

No. You do not have to be a current OGC student to take the trip.

Does this trip include airfare?

No. You will need to purchase your airfare. Your payment is only for the land portion of the trip.

Does this trip include airport transfers?

No. You are responsible for the cost of the airport transfers.

Are meals included in trip?

Breakfast is provided daily at the hotel. The welcome dinner will be paid for the group, as well as (2) lunches and (3) dinners. 

Can I get a refund?

All payments made are non-refundable after March 1, 2024.

What is your cancellation policy?

All sales are final.

Are the installments on auto draft?

Yes. Installments are setup on monthly auto drafts.

Is the purchase transferable?

Yes. Name changes to transfer bookings are allowed until final payment has been made. After the final payment, names can not be changed or modified, any unused purchases will be forfeited.

Will we attend any congregation meetings?

Yes. We have scheduled to attend the congregation meeting on Sunday. Please bring meeting attire.​

What is single occupancy, double occupany and triple occupancy?

Single occupancy means there is one guest in hotel room. Double occupancy means there are two guests sharing a hotel room. Triple occupancy means there are three guests sharing a hotel room.​

Do I need a visa to visit South Korea?

A U.S citizen with a valid passport can visit the Republic of Korea without a visa for 90 days for the purpose of tourism or visitation.​

How much should I budget for food and drinks?

When it comes to food and drinks it depends on what kind of restaurants you’ll visit. In Korea, you can get a meal for as little as 8,000 KRW so if you want you can really travel on a low budget. Prepare at least the following. For a budget restaurant, 10,000 KRW a meal;  mid range restaurant 20,000 KRW a meal; luxury restaurant +40,000 KRW a meal. The price for a cup of coffee is around 5,000 KRW.

How do you pay with a credit/debit card and cash in Korea?

In South Korea 95% of all payments can be made with a credit/debit card. It is recommended to bring a minimum amount of cash with you. $200.00 USD should be enough to pay for small items and in case your credit/debit card doesn’t work. All of your other expenses should be paid with your credit/debit card.

Bring at least 2 credit/debit cards with you and make sure to inform your bank you will be traveling to South Korea. With your credit/debit cards you can pay in most shops and even withdraw money. KEB Hana Bank is a good bank to withdraw money from while on the trip.
